Before enrolling your child in a Montessori program, it is helpful to know how your approach to child-rearing and education compare and contrast with a Montessori education. We therefore encourage parents to understand the philosopy and principles of the Montessori approach by reading one or more of the books listed below. For parents with children in a Montessori school, familiarity with Montessori methods can greatly enhance their child's developmental experience.
